📋 Description

• Lead the design of patient-facing product experiences focused on conversion flows, scheduling, payments, and in-session telehealth interactions for a behavioral healthcare platform.
• Create seamless, intuitive user journeys across the entire patient lifecycle: onboarding, provider matching, appointment booking, billing, and telehealth sessions.
• Design solutions that reduce friction and increase engagement with mental health services, accommodating diverse payment models and insurance coverage scenarios in a unified interface.
• Develop and maintain a scalable, consistent design system that balances rapid iteration with high-fidelity craftsmanship and accessibility standards.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and inform product direction.
• Partner closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate, high-quality implementation of design specifications.
• Integrate AI tools into the design process to accelerate iteration, explore personalization opportunities, and enhance provider-patient matching.
• Identify and propose AI-driven enhancements to improve patient experience, including personalized content, dynamic scheduling, and adaptive interface elements.
• Take full ownership of design outcomes, aligning user needs with business objectives and regulatory constraints in a high-growth startup environment.
• Navigate ambiguity and competing priorities with clear communication, strategic rationale, and data-informed decision-making.
• Present design work and strategic rationale to leadership, product, and engineering stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
• Foster collaborative relationships across product, engineering, clinical, and operations teams to drive alignment on design direction.
• Ship polished, user-centered designs in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments without compromising quality or accessibility.
• Maintain a portfolio demonstrating proven experience designing consumer digital products with complex workflows and high user engagement.
• Advocate for inclusive design practices that ensure accessibility for users with diverse abilities and backgrounds.
• Stay current with evolving trends in telehealth, behavioral health tech, and digital health UX best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience with a portfolio showcasing consumer digital products
• Deep understanding of conversion funnels, payment experiences, and user psychology
• Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, FullStory, etc.) and willingness to experiment with AI-assisted workflows
• Strong communicator who thrives working alongside product managers, engineers, and stakeholders
• Startup mentality: self-directed, adaptable, and comfortable finding solutions in ambiguity
• Track record of shipping polished designs in resource-constrained, high-velocity environments
