đź“‹ Description
- • As a Senior Product Engineer on the Pricing & Packaging team at Fin, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how AI-powered customer agents are monetized, directly impacting revenue streams and go-to-market strategy by building reliable, scalable systems that connect product innovation with commercial execution.
- • Day to day, you will design, build, and ship backend systems for pricing configuration, packaging, trial mechanics, paywalls, and billing integrations; own features end-to-end from design to deployment and incident response; contribute to architectural decisions balancing speed and platform health; drive safe system migrations and modernisation efforts; and enhance AI-assisted engineering workflows through tooling like domain-aware CI checks and automated triage.
- • You will join a high-impact team at the intersection of Fin’s industry-leading R&D organisation and its world-class go-to-market function, where you’ll help write the playbook for pricing AI agents in SaaS — a wide-open problem space — working closely with Product, Analytics Engineering, Data Science, Finance, Billing Ops, and GTM teams to ensure pricing integrity and operationalise quote-to-cash workflows.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in pricing and billing systems, strengthen your architectural and ownership mindset, gain influence through technical leadership and clear communication, and advance your practice of AI-first engineering by building and refining agentic workflows that improve team velocity and system reliability.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of backend engineering experience shipping customer-facing or revenue-impacting systems
- • Strong architectural instincts: ability to design for correctness and scale across distributed, integrated systems and make pragmatic tradeoffs
- • High ownership orientation: treating production health, pricing correctness, and data integrity as first-class concerns
- • Clear technical communicator: writes crisp design docs, surfaces tradeoffs early, and keeps stakeholders informed
- • Product-oriented mindset: understands how pricing decisions affect customers, revenue, and go-to-market strategy
- • AI-first engineering practice: uses AI tools daily to ship faster, review better, and automate toil
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary and equity in a fast-growing start-up
- • Free lunch served every weekday, plus snacks and a fully stocked kitchen
- • Pension scheme with company match up to 4%
- • Comprehensive health and dental insurance for employees and dependents
- • Flexible paid time off policy
- • Paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of paid paternity leave
