đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Senior Product Manager at ZOE, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our commerce platform and member experience, directly impacting how individuals interact with and benefit from our innovative health and wellness ecosystem.
  • • You will be a key member of the centralized Product team, reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, and will be instrumental in defining the product direction across the entire company.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to own the "source of truth" for our members, focusing on the technical foundation that underpins the purchase, management, and long-term engagement with ZOE's diverse product range, including Gut Health Tests and Daily30+ supplements.
  • • This role is ideal for a systems thinker who can orchestrate complex logic, connecting various ZOE products into a seamless, multi-product ecosystem, moving beyond simple checkout pages to build a robust and scalable commerce infrastructure.
  • • You will be tasked with defining the capabilities that drive both monetization and member retention, ensuring our commerce infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and prepared for significant global growth.
  • • A core focus will be the Member Portal, where you will design the intricate logic for subscription management, plan upgrades, and sophisticated account states, such as pausing supplement orders while maintaining access to test results.
  • • You will also drive the scaling of our purchasing engine, enabling features like shared carts, multi-currency transactions, and complex billing cycles to cater to a global user base.
  • • Ensuring the integrity of the member lifecycle is paramount; you will oversee the flawless flow of data between critical systems like Stripe (Payments), Dato (CMS), and our internal databases to guarantee a frictionless and positive member experience.
  • • Furthermore, you will be responsible for building the essential e-commerce "plumbing" necessary to support the launch of new products and facilitate international expansion, laying the groundwork for ZOE's future endeavors.
  • • You will translate complex biological testing and subscription concepts into user-friendly, high-reliability experiences, bridging the gap between commercial objectives and engineering execution.
  • • Acting as a "technical PM," you will meticulously document detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), anticipating and accounting for every edge case and "if/then" scenario to minimize ambiguity and ensure clarity for the engineering teams.
  • • Leveraging qualitative and quantitative data from tools like Hex and Mixpanel, you will identify friction points within the billing and account lifecycle, developing and implementing scalable solutions to enhance the member journey.
  • • You will serve as a strategic partner to cross-functional teams including Finance, Legal, and Operations, ensuring that the commerce roadmap comprehensively addresses global tax regulations, compliance requirements, and logistical considerations.
  • • Your work will directly contribute to ZOE's mission of empowering individuals with personalized health insights, making complex science accessible and actionable through a seamless digital experience.
  • • This role requires a deep understanding of back-end logic and API-driven workflows, enabling you to confidently discuss technical intricacies with engineers and translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • • You will champion clarity and thoroughness, taking pride in defining project scope with detailed documentation that leaves no room for misinterpretation.
  • • The opportunity to untangle challenging problems such as billing migrations, multi-product discounting strategies, and global currency logic will be a regular part of your responsibilities.
  • • Exceptional stakeholder management skills are essential, as you will be responsible for aligning diverse teams, from Finance to Science, ensuring the platform meets everyone's needs without compromising functionality or user experience.
  • • This is a remote role, offering flexibility, with the expectation of monthly travel to London to foster in-person collaboration and alignment within the centralized Product team, ensuring swift and effective progress.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, with a significant focus on Commerce, Payments, Platform, or Subscription-based products.
  • • Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex back-end logic, API-driven workflows, and technical dependencies, including familiarity with concepts like webhooks, payment failure logic, and database states.
  • • Proven track record of creating detailed product documentation (e.g., PRDs) that clearly define scope, account for edge cases, and minimize ambiguity for engineering teams.
  • • Experience in identifying and resolving complex problems within e-commerce environments, such as billing migrations, multi-product discounting, or international currency logic.
  • • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with and influence diverse teams including Engineering, Design, Data Science, Finance, Legal, and Operations.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Remote work flexibility with monthly travel to London.
  • • Opportunity to work on a cutting-edge product in the rapidly growing health-tech industry.
  • • Direct impact on a product that helps people improve their health and well-being.
  • • Collaborative and science-driven work environment with a focus on innovation.
  • • Competitive salary and benefits package (details not specified in the advert).
