📋 Description

• As a Senior Product Manager for Jerry's GarageGuard team, you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing auto repair and maintenance, a sector ripe for innovation and enhanced trust. You will own the strategic direction and execution for key features within GarageGuard, aiming to bring unparalleled clarity and guidance to drivers facing common car ownership challenges. • Your primary responsibility will be to drive significant improvements in user engagement and onboarding across GarageGuard's core functionalities. This involves crafting intuitive, seamless, and polished user experiences that reduce friction and build confidence. You will be instrumental in launching entirely new, 0-to-1 features designed to modernize the often-complex world of auto care for the average consumer, making it more accessible and less intimidating.
• A critical aspect of your role will be to uncover and address key opportunities that foster user trust. This will require deep-dive analytical investigations into user behavior, coupled with a fundamental, first-principles understanding of the challenges and anxieties drivers face when dealing with their vehicles. You will leverage cutting-edge AI technologies to enhance GarageGuard's capabilities, making the platform faster, more informative, and exceptionally helpful in diagnosing and resolving car issues.
• You will meticulously map out end-to-end user journeys, from the initial recognition of a car symptom or the need for maintenance, through the diagnostic process, to the eventual booking of a repair shop. This comprehensive analysis will pinpoint areas of confusion, anxiety, or potential user drop-off, providing a clear roadmap for product improvements and new feature development.
• A significant part of your work will involve conducting insightful user research, employing both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. You will collaborate closely with our talented Design and Research teams to rapidly prototype potential solutions, rigorously testing hypotheses and translating research findings into elegant, shippable product features. Validation through A/B testing and usability studies will be paramount to ensure the effectiveness and user-friendliness of your initiatives.
• You will be the champion for a high standard of user experience quality, focusing on clarity, speed, and consistency across the GarageGuard product suite. Working hand-in-hand with Engineering and Design, you will define key metrics, implement robust instrumentation for measurement, and drive iterative improvements based on data and user feedback.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Manager in consumer technology, with a proven track record of delivering impactful products.
• Demonstrated experience partnering closely with Product Design/Research teams and a strong portfolio showcasing consumer-grade mobile or web product launches.
• Deep customer empathy, a refined sense for UI/UX craft, and a passion for solving complex consumer problems.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making, comfortable working with data to uncover insights and validate hypotheses.
• Experience with or a strong interest in leveraging AI/ML technologies to enhance consumer product experiences.
