Senior Product Manager - Core Data

📋 Description

• • Own the end-to-end vision, strategy, and roadmap for Nelly’s Core Data platform, the single source of truth that powers every AI agent, product feature, and financial workflow across a regulated healthcare-fintech stack serving thousands of medical practices.
• • Translate complex regulatory, clinical, and financial requirements into a unified data model covering patients, practices, treatments, odontograms, invoices, billing events, and more—ensuring every downstream team can build confidently on well-governed, high-quality data.
• • Define and enforce data contracts, schemas, and SLAs that turn raw transactional data into reusable, self-serve assets; measure success through KPIs such as data-freshness, incident rate, time-to-integration, and adoption by AI/ML and product teams.
• • Partner tightly with platform engineers to architect cloud-native pipelines (Snowflake/BigQuery, Airflow/Prefect, dbt, Great Expectations) that scale to millions of patients while staying compliant with GDPR, DiGa, and German healthcare regulations.
• • Enable next-generation AI agents by curating evaluation datasets, feature stores, and real-time APIs—turning clinical notes, billing codes, and payment flows into safe, high-impact machine-learning inputs.
• • Champion a “platform-as-a-product” mindset: treat documentation, SDKs, sandbox environments, and support channels as first-class features that reduce onboarding time from weeks to hours.
• • Run quarterly OKR cycles that balance long-term foundational investments (e.g., entity resolution, lineage, privacy vaults) with quick-win enablement projects requested by product squads and finance operations.
• • Facilitate cross-functional design sessions with clinicians, billing experts, data scientists, and compliance officers to surface hidden edge cases—then prioritize fixes that prevent revenue leakage or regulatory risk.
• • Build a culture of data excellence by instituting data-quality OKRs, blameless post-mortems, and internal “data office hours” that turn curiosity into concrete contributions from every department.
• • Communicate roadmap progress to the exec team in plain language, linking technical metrics (pipeline reliability, entity coverage) to business outcomes (claim acceptance rate, cash-flow velocity, patient satisfaction).
• • Stay hands-on: write SQL to debug a failing pipeline, draft API specs for a new billing event, or pair-program a dbt test—because credibility comes from proximity to the metal.
• • Mentor junior PMs and analysts, sharing battle-tested playbooks for stakeholder management, hypothesis testing, and ruthless prioritization in a high-growth, regulated environment.
• • Continuously scan the market for emerging standards (FHIR, HL7, open-banking APIs) and assess their fit within Nelly’s architecture, ensuring we stay interoperable and future-proof.
• • Celebrate wins loudly—whether it’s a 50 % reduction in data incidents or the first AI agent that auto-generates compliant invoices—while fostering the “no-ego, no-drama” culture that makes Nelly special.
