  • • Your core mission will be to reimagine the entire user journey for car repair and maintenance. This includes developing and enhancing features such as intelligent diagnostics that help users understand what's wrong with their car, timely recall and maintenance alerts to keep vehicles in optimal condition, a reliable shop finder to connect users with trusted service providers, accurate repair estimates to ensure transparency, car valuation tools, and a comprehensive digital glovebox for all vehicle-related documentation. You will be responsible for creating seamless, intuitive, and empowering experiences that alleviate the anxiety and uncertainty often associated with car care.
  • • You will drive measurable improvements in user engagement and onboarding for GarageGuard's core offerings. This involves crafting friction-free, polished user experiences that make it easy for drivers to understand their car's needs and take appropriate action. A significant part of your role will be to ship 0→1 features, meaning you will be building entirely new capabilities from the ground up, modernizing the auto care experience for the average driver who may not be a car expert.
  • • Uncovering key opportunities to build and increase user trust is paramount. You will achieve this through deep-dive analyses of user behavior, leveraging a first-principles understanding of customer needs and pain points. This involves identifying moments where users feel confused, anxious, or abandon their tasks, and designing solutions that foster confidence and reliability.
  • • A critical aspect of this role is the thoughtful application of cutting-edge AI technology. You will explore and implement the latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to make GarageGuard faster, more insightful, and significantly more helpful. This could involve AI-driven diagnostics, predictive maintenance alerts, or personalized recommendations for services and shops.
  • • You will be expected to map out end-to-end user journeys, from the initial symptom triage (e.g., an engine light turning on) to the final step of booking a repair appointment. This comprehensive mapping will highlight critical points of friction, confusion, anxiety, or drop-off, providing a clear roadmap for improvement.
  • • Conducting insightful user research, encompassing both qualitative and quantitative methods, will be a key responsibility. You will collaborate closely with the Design and Research teams to rapidly prototype solutions, translate research findings into elegant and shippable product features, and rigorously validate these solutions through A/B testing and usability studies.
  • • Setting and maintaining a high bar for user experience quality is essential. This includes ensuring clarity, speed, consistency, and accessibility across all GarageGuard features. You will partner effectively with Engineering and Design to instrument new features, meticulously measure their performance, and drive iterative improvements based on data and user feedback.
  • • This role offers a direct and significant impact on how millions of users perceive and manage their car maintenance and repair needs. By simplifying these processes, you will contribute directly to Jerry's mission of becoming a $10 billion business and a dominant force in the automotive super app market.
  • • You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating with exceptional product managers, engineers, data scientists, and designers.
