Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As a Senior Product Manager on Forter’s Fraud and Abuse team, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for solutions that combat return abuse, refund fraud, coupon exploitation, and loyalty manipulation — directly enabling merchants to make trust decisions across the customer journey.
- • You will define and shape the product roadmap in collaboration with the Fraud and Abuse Director in Tel Aviv, lead end-to-end feature releases, integrate agentic AI capabilities with Engineering and Analytics, build continuous feedback loops from merchants and GTM teams, and serve as the primary product liaison for Sales and Customer Success in the NYC office.
- • Forter is a trusted leader in digital commerce fraud prevention, protecting over one billion identities and powering trust for global brands like Adobe, ASOS, eBay, and Instacart. The company is recognized for its award-winning culture, innovation, and commitment to values-driven growth across 600+ employees on three continents.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in fraud and abuse domains, sharpen your product leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills, and drive measurable impact by translating merchant pain points into innovative product features and go-to-market strategies that accelerate revenue and customer trust.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5–10 years of experience in fraud and/or abuse, with hands-on experience at or working directly with large e-commerce merchants or retailers in areas such as return abuse, refund fraud, coupon exploitation, or loyalty manipulation.
- • Proven ability to own a product domain end-to-end, including defining roadmaps, shipping capabilities, and driving outcomes with real autonomy and accountability.
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting to enterprise buyers, enabling sales teams, and creating compelling product one-pagers for non-technical audiences like merchant CFOs.
- • Natural ability to build relationships across time zones and functions, acting as the face of the product team in New York while maintaining tight collaboration with the Tel Aviv-based R&D team.
- • Technical and analytical curiosity — comfortable diving into data, understanding APIs, and learning the evolving patterns of fraud, including AI-driven policy exploitation and cross-merchant attack patterns.
- • Self-starter mentality with high autonomy, initiative, and accountability, able to operate independently without close management across distributed teams.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary ($168,000 - $208,000 annually) + bonus + equity + benefits
- • Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and matching 401K plan
- • Comprehensive health insurance including vision and dental, home office allowance, generous PTO, and half-day Fridays
- • Hybrid work model (3+ days/week in office for NYC hub employees)
- • Recognition as a Great Place to Work, Fortune’s Best Workplace in NYC, and Forbes Cloud 100 company
- • Opportunity to work with over 600 Forterians across three continents on a mission to bring trust to global digital commerce
