- • As a Senior Product Manager for Kraken’s Onboarding Platform, you will lead the strategy and execution of a critical growth lever that directly impacts user activation, regulatory compliance, and global scalability across consumer, business, and institutional segments. Your work will transform fragmented onboarding flows into a unified, self-serve platform that empowers product and engineering teams to innovate faster while reducing operational risk and technical debt.
- • You will define and own the onboarding platform vision, translating complex technical infrastructure initiatives into clear business outcomes such as faster time-to-market for new products, improved verification reliability, and reduced compliance overhead. This includes leading the rearchitecture of legacy systems to enable modular, reusable capabilities for identity verification, document processing, and workflow orchestration.
- • Day to day, you will partner closely with engineering, compliance, operations, and product teams to align on priorities, translate regulatory requirements into actionable product specs, and drive cross-functional execution of platform improvements. You will write detailed PRDs, strategy documents, and narratives that influence senior leadership and secure investment in foundational work.
- • You will build and evolve a self-serve onboarding platform that allows internal teams to launch new onboarding flows, run experiments, and tailor regional experiences without dependency on a central team, thereby increasing velocity and reducing bottlenecks.
- • You will define and track key success metrics including activation rates, verification success rates, team velocity, platform adoption, and operational efficiency, using data to continuously optimize the onboarding experience and demonstrate ROI.
- • You will anticipate regulatory shifts in KYC/AML across global jurisdictions and design scalable infrastructure that supports Kraken’s expansion into new markets while maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance.
- • You will join a mission-driven, fully remote team of over 70 countries where crypto conviction and innovation are central to the culture. The Growth team at Kraken is focused on building seamless client journeys that drive adoption, and you will play a pivotal role in shaping how millions of users first experience the platform.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in platform product management, regulated fintech systems, and scalable infrastructure design—skills that are highly transferable and in high demand across tech and finance. 🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of product management experience with a proven track record in building platforms, internal developer tooling, or infrastructure products where internal teams (engineering, product, operations) are the primary customers.
- • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale platform rearchitectures or evolutions, balancing long-term system health with near-term product delivery and stakeholder alignment.
- • Strong ability to translate technical infrastructure work into measurable business impact, using data and storytelling to influence senior leadership and prioritize foundational investments.
- • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including writing clear strategy documents, PRDs, and narratives that drive alignment across product, engineering, compliance, and operations teams.
- • Passion for Bitcoin and crypto, with a genuine belief in Kraken’s mission to accelerate global adoption of digital assets and financial inclusion.
