Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end post-signup patient experience for Maximus, spanning both digital product and physical clinical operations across all treatment protocols.
- • Define and execute the product roadmap for patient engagement, including provider messaging, protocol check-ins, lab results, dashboards, subscription management (pause, plan changes, payment recovery, cancellation), and refill workflows.
- • Drive lab completion rates for at-home test kits and Quest Diagnostics walk-in draws by designing frictionless scheduling, reminders, and coordination flows.
- • Ensure seamless synchronization between patients and providers for controlled-substance protocols like TRT, managing compliance with prescribing regulations and refill timelines.
- • Reduce avoidable churn by identifying and eliminating friction points in the patient journey, such as incomplete labs, missed provider syncs, and delayed refills.
- • Partner with the Growth team to design in-product recommendations that enable cross-protocol adoption, ensuring recommendations feel clinically appropriate rather than commercial.
- • Define, instrument, and monitor key retention and LTV metrics including lab completion rate, provider sync compliance, time-to-refill, and cross-protocol attach rate by cohort and protocol.
- • Translate qualitative patient feedback from support conversations and community channels into actionable product priorities through continuous voice-of-customer practices.
- • Serve as the connective tissue between clinical operations, pharmacy partners, care team, and lifecycle marketing to align cross-functional efforts around the patient journey.
- • Design and ship features within strict regulatory constraints including HIPAA, telehealth prescribing rules, and FTC subscription requirements, treating compliance as a core design input.
- • Lead a dedicated engineering pod and collaborate with an embedded design partner to prioritize, plan, and deliver product initiatives with autonomy and accountability.
- • Communicate product strategy and tradeoffs through clear, explicit documentation that aligns stakeholders across engineering, clinical, operations, and marketing.
- • Take full ownership of retention and LTV outcomes for all patient protocols, with direct responsibility for improving long-term patient value and reducing attrition.
- • Operate as a single-threaded owner of ambiguous, cross-functional problems that span digital and physical touchpoints, with no handoffs to other teams for end-to-end accountability.
- • Use analytical tools like Looker and Amplitude to write custom queries, build dashboards, and derive insights without reliance on data teams.
- • Balance rapid iteration with rigorous compliance in a regulated healthcare environment, ensuring every product decision meets legal and clinical standards.
- • Advocate for patients by noticing patterns in behavior — such as doubled churn at 90-day lab milestones — and proactively designing solutions before issues are formally reported.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years owning a consumer retention, engagement, or post-purchase surface
- • Experience in telehealth, healthcare, or another regulated consumer category, or demonstrated ability to ship quickly inside compliance constraints
- • A track record of moving retention or LTV metrics you can speak to specifically, including what worked, what didn't, and how you knew
- • Strong analytical fluency: you write your own queries, build your own dashboards, and are comfortable in tools like Looker and Amplitude
- • Experience working with operational and clinical stakeholders, not just engineering and design — this role has as much service design in it as software design
- • Excellent written communication; our culture runs on clear documents and explicit tradeoffs
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive base salary – $130-160k
- • Equity in the form of stock options
- • Full Suite: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance
- • Flexible vacation/time-off policies
- • Liquidity of options whenever available
- • Extended options exercise window for loyal employees (3 months for every year of service; e.g. 1 year for 4+ year employees)
