- • Senior Product Manager, Social Impact at Zillow Group, Inc. drives product initiatives that remove barriers to homeownership and advance housing equity, leveraging Zillow’s platform of over 200 million unique users to create generational wealth and stability.
- • Day to day, the role involves driving social impact product strategy across Zillow, owning the buyer readiness roadmap, translating housing policy into product work, designing AI-driven guidance experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Research, Data Science, Marketing, Legal), developing strategy documents, and partnering with the Social Impact Program team on company-wide reporting.
- • The Social Impact team focuses on products like CreditClimb and down payment assistance discovery, with a major emphasis on buyer readiness through affordability tools, credit improvement, and financial guidance, operating within Zillow’s mission to make home a reality for more people.
- • The person will learn to influence product direction at company scale, gain deep expertise in housing policy and fintech domains, build conviction with leadership through opportunity briefs, and deliver measurable impact on users’ financial positions and path to homeownership.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in product management with a track record of shipping zero-to-one products that meaningfully move business or customer outcomes
- • Proven ability to drive large-scale programs across multiple organizations, influencing roadmaps and delivering outcomes without direct authority over partner teams
- • Demonstrated excellence in written communication, with the ability to connect individual product decisions to a larger narrative about why the work matters and where it’s going
- • Skilled in using data, designing experiments, and applying user research to inform product decisions
- • Familiarity with government programs, housing policy, community development, or social impact work
- • Experience using generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) to accelerate product workflows
