📋 Description

• • Shape the emotional heartbeat of India’s largest streaming platform. You will craft motion-led experiences that guide 750 million weekly viewers through seamless onboarding, playful feedback loops, and unforgettable brand moments on mobile, TV, and web.
• • Own the end-to-end motion pipeline—from early storyboards to pixel-perfect production assets—working hand-in-hand with Product Designers, UX Researchers, Engineers, Brand, and Marketing to ensure every transition, micro-interaction, and hero animation feels native to the JioHotstar voice.
• • Evolve and scale our motion system. Define core principles (easing curves, choreography, timing), codify patterns in a living style guide, and build reusable Lottie/Rive libraries so teams ship consistent, high-quality motion at speed.
• • Champion accessibility and performance. Test motion on low-end Android devices, 4K living-room TVs, and patchy 3G connections; refine frame budgets, reduce jank, and guarantee that delight never compromises usability.
• • Leverage AI as a creative amplifier. Use Runway, Midjourney, Firefly, and other emerging tools to generate mood boards, iterate on timing variations overnight, or create placeholder assets that unblock engineers while you perfect final polish.
• • Prototype in high fidelity. Spin up interactive demos in Principle, ProtoPie, or code-based environments to validate hypotheses with real users, then document specs so Engineering can ship your vision without friction.
• • Tell stories that transcend screens. Translate abstract product goals—like “increase first-week retention” or “deepen fandom for regional cinema”—into emotionally resonant motion narratives that feel unmistakably JioHotstar.
• • Mentor and elevate the craft. Run motion clinics, critique sessions, and lunch-and-learns for the 30-person Design org; spot rising talent and help them grow from rough keyframes to award-worthy sequences.
• • Collaborate across time zones. Sync with Brand teams in Mumbai, Product squads in Bengaluru, and Marketing stakeholders in New York to ensure motion feels coherent whether it lives inside the app, on a billboard, or in a WhatsApp sticker pack.
• • Measure impact ruthlessly. Partner with Data Science to A/B test motion variants, read heat-maps, and iterate until every bounce, slide, and shimmer demonstrably improves clarity, delight, and business KPIs.
