- • Lead the end-to-end execution and growth of U.S. Navy Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) programs, ensuring timely and mission-critical delivery of capabilities to operational customers.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact between U.S. Navy stakeholders, business development, engineering, operations, and executive leadership to align program objectives with customer needs and organizational capabilities.
- • Identify new program opportunities within the Navy ISR domain and translate evolving mission requirements into funded task orders and contract vehicles.
- • Shape task orders by collaborating with technical teams to define scope, schedule, and resource requirements that meet Navy operational priorities and compliance standards.
- • Drive program execution by coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and logistics to deliver high-integrity systems including Hivemind autonomy software and V-BAT/X-BAT aircraft platforms.
- • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by maintaining consistent communication with Navy stakeholders, proactively addressing concerns, and delivering measurable operational outcomes.
- • Manage program risks and dependencies, including regulatory, contractual, and technical challenges, to maintain schedule integrity and mission readiness.
- • Support business development efforts by providing program insights, historical performance data, and customer feedback to inform proposal development and strategic growth initiatives.
- • Maintain deep familiarity with Navy acquisition processes, funding cycles, and procurement regulations to ensure full compliance and seamless transition from opportunity to contract execution.
- • Represent Shield AI in customer meetings, technical reviews, and program milestones, articulating technical capabilities and program status to senior Navy leadership.
- • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure product development aligns with evolving Navy ISR requirements and operational feedback loops.
- • Track program performance metrics and deliver regular status reports to executive leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and resource needs.
- • Foster strong relationships with key Navy command structures, including fleet, intelligence, and acquisition offices, to position Shield AI as a trusted mission partner.
- • Ensure all program activities adhere to defense industry standards, export control regulations, and classified information handling protocols.
- • Contribute to the scaling of Shield AI’s defense programs by documenting best practices, refining program management processes, and mentoring junior program staff.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience leading U.S. Navy ISR programs from opportunity identification through execution
- • Deep understanding of Navy acquisition processes, funding cycles, and task order development
- • Demonstrated success managing complex defense programs involving autonomous systems, software, or aircraft platforms
- • Strong track record of building and maintaining relationships with U.S. Navy stakeholders
- • Ability to translate operational requirements into funded contract vehicles and technical deliverables
- • Clearance or eligibility for U.S. government security clearance
