- • Lead and manage large, complex pharmaceutical advertising campaigns or multiple concurrent projects with high stakes and tight deadlines, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality delivery.
- • Directly supervise and mentor Project Managers and/or Associate Project Managers, providing guidance on workflow, prioritization, resource allocation, and professional development.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams (Advisory, Medical, Marketing) and external clients in the pharmaceutical industry, translating client objectives into actionable project plans.
- • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and deliverable milestones, aligned with pharmaceutical regulatory and compliance standards.
- • Coordinate cross-functional teams including medical writers, creative designers, regulatory specialists, and data analysts to ensure seamless execution of integrated campaigns.
- • Monitor project performance using key metrics and reporting tools, proactively identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions to maintain client satisfaction and project integrity.
- • Ensure all campaign materials comply with FDA, EMA, and other relevant pharmaceutical advertising regulations, working closely with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risk.
- • Facilitate regular client meetings and status updates, presenting progress reports, addressing feedback, and managing scope changes with clarity and professionalism.
- • Drive process improvements within the project management framework, introducing best practices to enhance efficiency, scalability, and consistency across accounts.
- • Collaborate with global teams across Avalere’s hubs in Washington, D.C., New York, London, and Manchester to align on strategy, share resources, and maintain brand consistency.
- • Support the development of proposal documents and pitch materials for new business opportunities, leveraging deep understanding of pharmaceutical marketing dynamics.
- • Maintain accurate project documentation, including timelines, budgets, change logs, and client communications, ensuring audit readiness and knowledge transfer.

🎯 Requirements
- • Pharmaceutical advertising agency experience required
- • Proven experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced agency environment
- • Experience supervising Project Managers and/or Associate Project Managers
- • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory guidelines (FDA, EMA)
- • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
