📋 Description

• Senior Project Manager - Services at Motiv Inc. is a critical role responsible for leading complex, cross-functional service delivery initiatives that ensure successful implementation and adoption of Motive’s fleet management and safety technology solutions for enterprise customers across industries such as transportation, logistics, construction, and energy. This role directly impacts customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth by ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with measurable operational improvements.
• The person will drive end-to-end project lifecycle management for service engagements, including scoping, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, while acting as the primary liaison between customers, internal teams (engineering, sales, support, and product), and third-party vendors to align deliverables with business objectives and SLAs.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include developing detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and resource allocations; facilitating kickoff meetings and weekly status reviews; identifying and mitigating risks; managing change requests; tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as deployment velocity, system uptime, and user adoption rates; conducting post-implementation reviews; and ensuring seamless handoff to customer success and support teams.
• The role requires proactive communication with stakeholders at all levels — from technical administrators to C-suite executives — to provide transparent reporting, manage expectations, and advocate for customer needs within internal product and engineering feedback loops.
• The Project Manager will also contribute to refining service delivery methodologies, creating reusable templates and playbooks, and mentoring junior team members to build organizational capability in scalable, repeatable project execution.

• The Services team operates as a strategic partner to customers, combining deep domain expertise with technical proficiency to ensure Motive’s platform delivers tangible ROI. Team members collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Sales to translate field insights into product enhancements and service innovations.
• In this role, the individual will develop advanced competencies in enterprise project management, stakeholder influence, technical solution understanding (including IoT, telematics, and AI-powered safety systems), and change management — positioning them for leadership roles in program management, delivery operations, or customer success strategy within the tech or industrial SaaS sectors.
• Success in this role is measured by customer satisfaction scores (CSAT/NPS), on-time delivery rates, renewal and expansion rates, and the ability to scale service delivery models efficiently — offering clear pathways for career growth and impact.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience managing complex technology implementation projects in B2B SaaS, IoT, fleet management, or enterprise software environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities, strong organizational skills, and experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project, or Smartsheet).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated success in influencing cross-functional teams and building trust with executive-level customer stakeholders.
• Familiarity with transportation, logistics, construction, or field service industries is a strong plus; understanding of telematics, vehicle tracking, or safety compliance (e.g., FMCSA, DOT) is advantageous.
• Ability to work remotely with self-discipline, proactive ownership, and comfort collaborating across time zones (primarily North America-based customers and teams).
