📋 Description
- • The Senior Project Specialist leads assistance engagements with American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) grantee communities to support capacity building, sustainability planning, and compliance for federal grant recipients, ensuring trauma-informed, culturally humble support for victims of crime including human trafficking, domestic violence, and Missing or Murdered Indigenous Persons.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include providing capacity building and compliance assistance, planning and executing customized assistance activities, developing victim services policies and procedures, conducting community needs assessments, supporting resolution of OJP monitoring issues, evaluating grantee needs, fostering partnerships with tribal communities and technical assistance providers, developing and facilitating trainings (webinars, peer learning exchanges), and conducting reviews of tribal community resources and infrastructure.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree
- • Minimum 5 years of experience working with American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities
- • Minimum 5 years of experience in victim services
- • Minimum 2 years of prior experience supporting federal grant programs and ensuring compliance with award conditions for AI/AN grant recipients
- • U.S. citizenship required due to federal government contract
- • Ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance prior to start date
