  • • The Senior Quality Compliance Nurse Professional is an integral part of the Oklahoma Quality Improvement Department, serving as a subject matter expert in quality compliance and collaborating with internal and external customers to meet benchmarks, goals, and time-sensitive deliverables for clinical and non-clinical performance projects.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include making decisions on moderately complex to complex technical approaches for project components, working independently in ambiguous situations, conducting data analysis, implementing quality improvement programs, monitoring activities and performance metrics for the Oklahoma Medicaid program, and participating in multidisciplinary committees to conduct briefings and area meetings.
  • • The role operates within Humana Inc.'s Oklahoma Quality Improvement Department, contributing to the Oklahoma Medicaid strategy and influencing quality department initiatives through strategic partnerships with senior leadership and managed care collaboration.
  • • The individual will develop expertise in quality and process improvement methodologies (such as PDSA and DMAIC), gain experience presenting to stakeholders, enhance project management skills, and deepen knowledge of Medicaid programs and healthcare quality standards, positioning them for advancement in healthcare quality and compliance leadership.

  • • RN License for the State of Oklahoma, unrestricted
  • • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant work experience in healthcare settings
  • • Knowledge of quality and process improvement approaches (PDSA, DMAIC, etc.)
  • • Experience presenting information to internal and/or external stakeholders
  • • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership on strategic initiatives
  • • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • • Must reside in the state of Oklahoma
