Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own end-to-end full-cycle recruiting for Sales and GTM functions, from initial candidate identification through offer closure and onboarding.
- • Build targeted lists of high-performing candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Sales Navigator, Gong signals, internal data, and AI tools like Claude to identify top talent at peer and aspirational companies.
- • Develop and share written market maps and talent profiles for each search, articulating what "great" looks like and where to find it—beyond resume slates.
- • Conduct personalized, research-driven outbound outreach grounded in candidates’ deal motion, territory, recent moves, or professional context to maximize reply and onsite conversion rates.
- • Manage pipeline hygiene and stakeholder communication within Ashby, ensuring timely updates and transparent tracking throughout the hiring process.
- • Close senior GTM hires against competing offers from top-tier companies by partnering with hiring managers and leadership to build conviction, sequence references, and execute strategic closing motions.
- • Partner strategically with GTM leaders to refine hiring scopes, surface compensation realities early, and translate abstract wishlists into concrete, actionable candidate profiles within days.
- • Deliver a fast, fair, and transparent candidate experience with prompt feedback and offer decisions made in days, not weeks.
- • Contribute to process improvements in recruiting methodology, compensation benchmarking, employer branding, and how Ramp evaluates GTM talent.
- • Use AI fluently as a core part of daily workflow: researching candidates, drafting personalized messages, summarizing interviews, and surfacing signals from unstructured data.
- • Apply data literacy to analyze funnel metrics and challenge hiring managers with quantitative insights when needed.
- • Maintain high urgency in operations: book next steps during calls, own candidate experience through signature, and drive momentum without delays.
- • Produce written communication that is specific, sharp, and non-template-driven—outbound messages and candidate updates are key work products.
- • Demonstrate research instincts by clearly articulating why a candidate is in the top decile of their cohort, not just listing their title or company.
- • Bring a track record of identifying and placing top-performing GTM hires in high-growth or top-tier startup environments with non-negotiable hiring standards.
- • Continuously improve Ramp’s hiring systems by contributing to process changes, comp benchmarks, and talent evaluation frameworks.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of full-cycle GTM/Sales recruiting experience in a high-growth or top-tier startup environment with non-negotiable hiring standards
- • Proven track record of identifying and placing top-performing GTM hires, with examples of candidates who became high performers
- • Comfort and fluency using AI tools (e.g., LLMs) daily for candidate research, outreach drafting, call summarization, and data signal extraction
- • Demonstrated ability to close senior hires against competing offers from top-tier companies
- • Proficiency with Ashby (or equivalent ATS) and comfort with funnel metrics and data-driven hiring decisions
- • High urgency operating mode: booking next steps during calls and owning candidate experience through signature
