- • Own and evolve enterprise-wide release strategy, governance frameworks, and best practices for NiCE CXone’s mission-critical SaaS platform.
- • Lead planning, orchestration, and execution of complex, large-scale SaaS releases spanning multiple teams, services, and deployment models including monolith and microservices architectures.
- • Serve as the primary release authority responsible for readiness assessments, risk evaluation, and go/no-go decision-making aligned with business priorities.
- • Drive continuous improvement of release processes, change management, and automation across the SDLC to enhance reliability and reduce operational risk.
- • Champion ITIL-aligned Change and Problem Management practices, including post-release reviews, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
- • Lead early customer access and beta programs by managing communication plans, success metrics, and escalation paths for pre-release deployments.
- • Mentor and guide Release Managers and cross-functional teams on release best practices, tooling standards, and execution methodologies.
- • Act as the senior point of escalation during release-related incidents, coordinating cross-team response and resolution efforts.
- • Represent Release Management in executive and customer-facing communications with clarity, accountability, and confidence.
- • Provide leadership and oversight for releases during off-hours, including nights and weekends, as required to maintain 99.99% uptime SLA.
- • Partner closely with Engineering, Product, and Operations leadership to ensure predictable, high-quality, and highly available SaaS releases.
- • Operate within a hybrid work model: 2 days per week in the Pune office for collaborative meetings, 3 days remote.
- • Contribute to the maturation of release management practices across a global organization with enterprise-scale SaaS deployments.
- • Gain exposure to advanced CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native infrastructure, and automated deployment strategies in a high-availability environment.
- • Influence release strategy and execution across product, engineering, and operations leadership with high visibility and impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- • 5-7 years total experience, including 3+ years in enterprise SaaS environments with significant ownership of release management functions
- • 1+ years leading complex, concurrent software releases in a senior Release Manager or similar role
- • Deep understanding of modern SDLC practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based deployment strategies (monolith and microservices)
- • Strong knowledge of ITIL Change and Problem Management, release governance, and risk management principles
- • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence without authority, and drive alignment at senior levels
