📋 Description

• As a Senior Remedial Operations Manager at GE Vernova, you will lead the strategic and technical management of the company’s global environmental remediation portfolio, driving innovation and consistency in risk management across diverse sites and stakeholders.
• You will serve as the primary operations manager for the remedial portfolio, maintaining and enhancing risk tracking systems, coordinating financial reserves, and acting as the key technical liaison between EPR project managers and internal teams including finance, legal, EHS, and business leadership.
• You will manage a limited portfolio of remedial projects, overseeing external consultants and ensuring alignment with technical standards, regulatory requirements, and business objectives while leading operational reviews and cross-functional communication rhythms.
• You will develop and communicate technical standards, establish best practices, and stay current on remedial technologies to position GE Vernova as a leader in proactive environmental risk management, with opportunities to influence strategy and mentor team members.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, engineering, biology, chemistry, or equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of applied project management experience in environmental remediation and/or EHS within a company, regulatory agency, or consulting firm.
• Minimum 15 years of experience managing complex remediation projects involving soil, groundwater, and soil vapor, including PCBs, hydrocarbons, heavy metals, and chlorinated solvents.
• Proven ability to manage internal and external consultant teams to generate cost estimates, scopes of work, and reports.
• Experience preparing financial estimations and long-term planning for remedial projects.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to convey complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
