📋 Description
- • Prepare and book journal entries to ensure the appropriate revenue, cost and AR treatments
- • Complete ASC 606 analyses for new revenue streams.
- • Assist with monthly accounting close including analyzing fluctuations and providing meaningful financial reporting.
- • Understand relevant accounting principles and communicate such principles to peers and business partners, primarily in written form.
- • Analyze current procedures and make recommendations to develop and drive process improvements to achieve efficiency and scalability.
- • Operate with minimum supervision.
- • Support the external audit process and create improvements for any inefficiencies identified.
- • Assist in implementation, maintenance, and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- • Internal reporting and special projects on request.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience
- • Advanced MS Excel skills and experience
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
🏖️ Benefits
- • Experience with ASC 606 Revenue Recognition
- • Master’s degree in accounting or equivalent field
- • CPA
- • Recent audit experience
- • Experience in a technology or high-growth company operating in a SOX environment
- • Experience with NetSuite
- • Experience with Snowflake, SQL, Hex, and/or Metabase is a bonus
