📋 Description

  • Senior Sales Manager role focused on originating, developing, and closing large, complex Industrial & Commercial opportunities in the UK energy solutions market.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities include building senior customer relationships, shaping multi-technology decarbonisation propositions, leading deals through qualification to contract award, and maintaining accurate Salesforce records.
  • Ameresco is a leading clean technology integrator and renewable asset developer delivering energy infrastructure, decarbonisation, and efficiency solutions across the UK, U.S., Canada, and Europe.
  • The role offers the opportunity to drive profitable growth, influence board-level decisions, and develop expertise in complex B2B sales within the energy transition sector.

🎯 Requirements

  • Proven track record in new business development, strategic sales, or senior business development within energy, infrastructure, renewables, engineering, FM, construction, or related complex B2B markets.
  • Experience originating and progressing large, complex opportunities with long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior customer stakeholders, including board-level, finance, operations, sustainability, procurement, and technical decision-makers.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including understanding of margin, pricing, risk, contract structure, funding options, and business case development.
  • Credible understanding of energy, decarbonisation, or infrastructure solutions, with ability to work confidently with technical teams without being a technical designer.
  • Strong qualification, forecasting, and CRM discipline, ideally with Salesforce experience.
