  • • As a Senior Sales Solution Engineer at Availity, you will play a pivotal role in scaling the Healthcare IT (HIT) vertical by bridging technical expertise with enterprise sales strategy, ensuring complex healthcare organizations receive tailored, value-driven solutions that improve patient care outcomes.
  • • You will partner directly with Enterprise Account Executives to lead technical discovery, translate multifaceted business and technical requirements into actionable solution architectures, and deliver executive-level demonstrations that articulate clear ROI and alignment with customer goals.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting structured discovery sessions to map customer workflows, constraints, and success metrics; designing solution approaches with integration considerations and risk assessments; delivering consultative, audience-tailored product demos; responding to technical objections with data-driven reasoning; and maintaining reusable pre-sales assets such as demo flows, positioning guides, and discovery templates to support vertical growth.
  • • You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Implementation/Delivery teams to ensure seamless handoff from pre-sales to post-sales, creating detailed handoff artifacts like technical notes, requirements summaries, and scope definitions to minimize rework and accelerate customer onboarding.
  • • Beyond individual contributions, you will serve as a market-facing voice of the customer by feeding competitive insights and product feedback into internal teams, while also coaching and mentoring peers in discovery best practices, demo delivery, and stakeholder influence to elevate the overall effectiveness of the Solutions Engineer function.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of Solutions Engineering or Sales Engineering experience within a SaaS environment
  • • Proven ability to lead technical discovery, translate business and technical requirements into solution recommendations, and deliver executive-ready, consultative product demonstrations
  • • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with comfort operating in ambiguity and influencing stakeholders without authority
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including documenting technical conversations and articulating value to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Implementation/Delivery teams to ensure accurate solution design and smooth pre-sales to post-sales handoff
  • • Willingness to travel approximately 15–25% as needed for customer engagements and onsite meetings
