- • As a Senior SAP Basis Consultant specializing in SAP RISE, you will be at the forefront of a transformative initiative, leading and developing a brand-new virtual team dedicated to serving our SAP RISE customers. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our SAP managed services, establishing best practices and driving exceptional service delivery.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to architect and implement standardized procedures for the management of SAP RISE environments. This involves meticulous documentation and the continuous refinement of processes to ensure a consistent, high-quality approach across all customer engagements. You will be the architect of operational excellence, setting the benchmark for how we support and manage these critical cloud-based SAP solutions.
- • You will orchestrate and lead complex projects within the SAP RISE domain. This includes, but is not limited to, new installations, system updates and upgrades, intricate migrations from on-premise to RISE, S/4HANA conversions, in-depth system analysis and performance optimization, and the strategic activation of SAP Fiori and other best practices. Your project management expertise will be crucial in ensuring successful, on-time, and within-budget delivery.
- • A key aspect of this role is acting as a trusted advisor to both our valued customers and internal colleagues. You will provide expert guidance on SAP RISE configurations and the integration of related cloud technologies. This includes advising on the seamless connection of cloud products such as SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), the implementation of robust single sign-on (SSO) solutions, and the meticulous configuration of various interfaces to ensure interoperability and data flow.
- • You will play an instrumental role in our growth strategy by actively participating in Presales activities. This involves collaborating with sales teams to understand prospective customer needs, contributing technical expertise to proposals, and presenting our SAP RISE capabilities to potential clients, helping to secure new business opportunities.
- • This role demands a proactive and hands-on approach. You will be expected to dive deep into technical challenges, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure the optimal performance and availability of SAP RISE landscapes. Your ability to anticipate potential problems and implement preventative measures will be highly valued.

🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in managing complex SAP Basis projects, with a specific focus on SAP RISE environments and customer implementations.
- • Hands-on expertise in executing system migrations from on-premise SAP landscapes to the SAP RISE environment, alongside proficiency in other common SAP Basis tasks.
- • Several years of comprehensive experience in the setup, configuration, and ongoing operation of SAP systems and associated technologies.
- • Sound knowledge of at least two common SAP databases (e.g., SAP HANA, Oracle, Sybase).
- • Familiarity with connecting cloud services such as SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to SAP RISE landscapes.
- • University degree in Business Informatics/Computer Science or a comparable qualification, coupled with several years of relevant professional experience.
- • Ideally, one or more certifications in the SAP RISE domain.
- • Business fluent German (C1 level) and fluent English (B2 level).
- • Willingness to work occasional nights or weekends as required by project demands.
