- • Design, develop, implement, test, deploy, and provide operations and maintenance (O&M) support for synchronous and asynchronous interfaces between client SAP instances and external systems using SAP PI/PO platform.
- • Participate in business process analysis to validate requirements, scope integration needs, and assist in level of effort (LOE) estimation.
- • Evaluate, model, and design interface objects based on Enterprise Service Architecture (ESA) principles and SAP best practices.
- • Import external WSDL structures into SAP PI/PO and build REST-based interfaces to enable system interoperability.
- • Configure SAP PI/PO adapters to route traffic between SAP and non-SAP systems, including FILE, SOAP, REST, and B2B adapters.
- • Develop and maintain EDI interfaces using the PO B2B adapter for transactions including 850, 860, 856, and 810.
- • Create complex message mappings between source and target data structures within SAP PI/PO.
- • Utilize Application Link Enabling (ALE) to exchange data across multiple SAP instances.
- • Develop custom scripts, applets, and Java code to support interface logic traversing the SAP PI/PO environment.
- • Implement SAP ABAP software applications and interfaces, including development using SAP Proxy and IDOC technologies.
- • Develop, test, debug, maintain, and document technical specifications for SAP interfaces and applications.
- • Conduct unit, integration, and release testing to validate functionality and support end-user Acceptance Testing.
- • Monitor production interfaces and resolve incidents within required timeframes.
- • Participate in Operations and Maintenance call rotation support for ongoing system reliability.
- • Adhere to strict development standards and perform code reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
- • Build web services and leverage SAP ABAP Objects, ABAP Reports, ABAP online transactions, RFCs, BAPIs, BADIs, module pools, User Exits, Batch Programming, SAP Script Output, IDOC development, Data Dictionary, and Function Modules.
- • Transform SAP IDOC messages to XML format using SAP PI IDOC sender and receiver adapters.
- • Apply knowledge of SAP ABAP client/server proxy technology for system integration.
- • Maintain basic proficiency in HTML programming, Secure FTP, FIPS 140-2 compliant Apache web servers, LAN/WAN architecture, and Firewall Security.
- • Use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
- • Communicate effectively with management, providing status updates, suggesting corrective actions, and following direction.
- • Collaborate with diverse customer organizations, accepting feedback and guidance on requirements and deliverables.
- • Work independently with self-motivation and as part of a team in a remote environment.
- • Obtain and maintain NACI Clearance as required.
- • Maintain a minimum of 8 years of relevant SAP PI/PO and ABAP development experience.
- • Hold a BS/BA degree in a related field.

- • 8+ years of experience in SAP PI/PO development and integration
- • Proficiency in SAP NetWeaver ABAP and Java Stack environments
- • Experience with WSDL, XSD, REST, SOAP, FILE, and B2B adapters
- • Experience with EDI transactions (850, 860, 856, 810) and IDOC processing
- • Knowledge of SAP ABAP development including Proxy, IDOC, RFC, BAPI, BADIs, and ALE
- • Ability to obtain NACI Clearance
