Senior Scalability Engineer - Streaming & Realtime Systems

📋 Description

• • Senior Scalability Engineer focused on streaming and realtime systems, responsible for owning the architecture and expansion of streaming data infrastructure including WAL-based database replication, change data capture (CDC) systems, and realtime event processing to handle hundreds of thousands to millions of records per batch with strict ordering and exactly-once semantics.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing WAL-based replication systems processing database changes through Kinesis to Snowflake and Redshift, building CDC infrastructure for cross-platform data synchronization, developing shared Kinesis/SNS consumer libraries, partnering with product teams to implement realtime data processing solutions, ensuring data reliability through exactly-once processing and monitoring, building observability with LGTM stack, mentoring engineers, leading design reviews, and making strong architectural choices for distributed systems.
