📋 Description

• Senior Site Reliability Engineer responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of Pave Bank’s core banking and digital asset platform as it scales.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring production systems, building infrastructure as code, managing deployment pipelines, responding to incidents, conducting root-cause analysis, implementing observability and alerting, supporting service scaling, and documenting runbooks and system architecture.
• Pave Bank is a regulated fintech startup building programmable banking by combining traditional banking with digital assets, founded by experts from Monzo and BigPay, operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• The role offers deep technical growth in cloud infrastructure, automation, distributed systems, and reliability engineering within a regulated financial context, with opportunities to shape SRE practices and advance expertise in fintech infrastructure.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong programming or scripting skills (Go, Python, Bash, or similar) for automation and operational tasks
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or similar)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent)
• Experience setting up monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, distributed tracing)
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to respond to incidents under pressure
