  • • As a Senior Social Media Producer at Change.org, you will be instrumental in shaping and amplifying our voice across the UK's digital landscape. This pivotal role, reporting to the Head of Communications, UK, offers a unique opportunity to lead and significantly grow Change.org's social media presence, driving brand awareness and affinity through compelling, multi-platform content.
  • • Your primary focus will be on creating and curating impactful short-form video and image-based content tailored for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts. You will be at the forefront of developing engaging narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, fostering a sense of community and driving civic action.
  • • You will own the social media content calendar, meticulously planning and scheduling posts to align with overarching communications and campaign objectives. This involves a strategic approach to content creation, balancing original, evergreen material with timely, reactive content that capitalizes on current trends and conversations.
  • • A key responsibility will be to craft clear, concise, and factually accurate social media copy that effectively communicates our mission and campaign messages, ensuring editorial integrity and audience engagement.
  • • You will be tasked with developing and executing a robust influencer engagement strategy. This involves identifying, building relationships with, and managing collaborations with influencers who can effectively amplify our message and drive campaign impact, meticulously tracking and reporting on the performance and conversion metrics of these partnerships.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves leveraging data to optimize content performance. You will proactively analyze social media metrics, identify trends, and adapt strategies to enhance engagement, grow our follower base, and acquire new users, ensuring our social media efforts are both creative and data-driven.
  • • The role requires a proactive and innovative mindset, constantly seeking new ways to optimize content and develop social media strategies that effectively engage target audiences and grow our following across all relevant platforms.
  • • You will be expected to possess strong editorial judgment and excellent literacy skills, ensuring all content is not only engaging but also accurate and aligned with Change.org's commitment to being an open platform.
  • • While prioritizing the voices of petition organizers, there may be occasions where you will be comfortable appearing on-camera to present videos, adding a personal touch to our social media output.
  • • A crucial element of the role is understanding and navigating the UK news and campaigns landscape. You will need to generate fresh ideas based on current trends, issues, and opportunities, ensuring Change.org remains a relevant and influential voice in public discourse.
  • • You will embrace Change.org's commitment to being an open platform, demonstrating a willingness to work across differences and support policy-compliant campaigns, even those you may not personally agree with, by framing them in values-based language that resonates broadly.
  • • You will be adept at building narratives around live campaigns, moving beyond purely reactive content to create sustained engagement and impact.
  • • Furthermore, you will be encouraged to explore and harness the power of AI to streamline and enhance your workflow, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and adoption of new technologies.
  • • This role is ideal for a seasoned social media professional with a proven track record of managing large brand accounts, driving substantial growth, and leading social media efforts for prominent media brands or campaign organizations.
  • • You will contribute to Change.org's mission of empowering people and building healthier democracies by leveraging the power of social media to connect, inform, and mobilize communities.
  • • Your work will directly impact the reach and effectiveness of campaigns that drive real-world change, making this a highly rewarding and impactful position.
  • • You will collaborate closely with the communications team to ensure a cohesive and powerful brand message across all channels.
  • • The ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously will be essential for success in this dynamic role.
  • • You will be a key player in expanding Change.org's influence and reach within the UK, contributing to our global mission of fostering democratic participation and social impact.
