📋 Description

• • As a Senior Software Engineer at Primer Technologies, you will lead the design and implementation of core backend services for high-performance, complex distributed systems, directly contributing to Primer’s mission of rebuilding payments and commerce from the ground up.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities include taking ownership of key technology decisions, building for scale, optimizing for output, creating clear and well-tested code, conducting code reviews, collaborating across product-driven teams, and producing detailed internal documentation for your projects.
• • You will join the Partners team, which is reimagining how third-party payment service providers unlock the power of Primer’s unified payment infrastructure, working alongside backend, frontend, and mobile engineers in a ‘you build it, you own it’ culture that emphasizes autonomy, testing, and continuous improvement.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in distributed systems, modern development practices like TDD and BDD, and payment infrastructure, while gaining influence over technical direction and contributing to a globally recognized, mission-driven engineering culture.
