📋 Description

• • Senior Software Engineer role focused on building developer productivity tools and platforms for Red Hat’s Hybrid Platforms Engineering-Productivity team, directly supporting the company’s hybrid cloud vision by enabling faster, safer, and more scalable service delivery.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining developer productivity tools and AI-supported SDLC workflows; building APIs, automation, and CI/CD pipelines; collaborating with SREs, developers, and quality engineers to improve observability and deployment efficiency; contributing to shared infrastructure like ephemeral environments and developer onboarding automation; and monitoring tool performance in production for high availability and low latency.
• • The team is part of Red Hat Engineering’s Hybrid Platforms (HP) Engineering-Productivity group, which builds and maintains developer experience and infrastructure tools used across HP — including CI/CD systems, ephemeral testing environments, and AI-driven developer assistance — to enhance productivity and reliability in Red Hat’s hybrid cloud ecosystem.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud-native development, AI-assisted workflows, and internal platform engineering while contributing to open-source-aligned practices and gaining visibility into large-scale enterprise software delivery at a global open-source leader.
