📋 Description

• As a Senior Software Engineer focused on AI Experiences at Sardine Inc., you will own the design and delivery of user-facing experiences for AI-powered fraud prevention and AML compliance products, directly contributing to stopping identity fraud, payment fraud, account takeovers, and social engineering scams for over 300 global clients.
• You will design, build, and own polished, accessible, performant production-grade interfaces in React and TypeScript, mentor engineers, set frontend technical standards, use AI-assisted tools like Claude to accelerate development, and contribute to backend services in Go when needed, while collaborating with stakeholders to shape product and technical roadmaps.
• Sardine is a remote-first company with hubs in the Bay Area, NYC, Austin, Toronto, and São Paulo, valued at $145M in funding from top investors including Andreessen Horowitz and Google Ventures, and maintains a culture of extreme ownership, performance over hours, and work-life balance.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of proven experience as a software engineer with deep specialization in frontend development
• Expert-level React and TypeScript with strong UX, performance, and accessibility focus
• Demonstrated fluency with AI and agentic coding tools (e.g., Claude) to ship efficiently and raise throughput
• Leadership experience in setting technical standards, mentoring engineers, and driving key technical decisions
• Working proficiency in Go (or ability to become productive quickly) for backend services
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to prioritize autonomously against business needs
