📋 Description

• • Architect and own the next-generation backend for India’s most trusted wealth-tech platform, serving millions of retail investors who rely on us for predictable, low-risk fixed-income returns. You will design systems that ingest, cleanse, and enrich millions of data points daily—from bond prices and credit ratings to tax implications—then surface them through lightning-fast APIs that power both web and mobile experiences.
• • Build resilient, horizontally-scalable micro-services in Go (preferred) or Java that handle portfolio construction, order execution, settlement, and real-time analytics. Your code will sit at the heart of a platform that turns complex instruments like SDLs, G-Secs, and corporate bonds into one-click investment options for everyday Indians.
• • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of critical modules: ideation with product and risk teams, schema design, TDD-driven implementation, rigorous code reviews, automated CI/CD via GitHub Actions + Argo CD, blue-green deployments on EKS, and post-release observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• • Design and evolve high-throughput, low-latency REST, gRPC, and GraphQL APIs that must remain < 100 ms p99 while serving 10× traffic spikes during market volatility. You will implement idempotency keys, circuit breakers, graceful degradation, and rate-limiting strategies to guarantee 99.9 % uptime.
• • Champion data integrity and security. Build idempotent reconciliation pipelines that ensure every rupee invested is tracked to the last decimal; enforce field-level encryption, RBAC, and audit trails that exceed SEBI and RBI compliance standards.
• • Optimize for cost and performance at AWS scale: choose the right mix of EC2 Graviton, Lambda, DynamoDB, Aurora Serverless, ElastiCache, and S3 Intelligent-Tiering; write Terraform modules that spin up entire environments in minutes while keeping cloud spend transparent and predictable.
• • Collaborate with cross-functional squads—frontend, data science, credit risk, and customer success—in a flat, entrepreneurial culture. Expect daily stand-ups, fortnightly retros, and open Slack channels where ideas are pressure-tested without hierarchy.
• • Mentor junior engineers through pair programming, brown-bag sessions, and crisp design docs. You will define coding standards, drive adoption of DDD and clean architecture, and create runbooks that turn on-call rotations from firefighting into proactive learning.
• • Experiment fearlessly: prototype new asset classes, simulate interest-rate shocks, or A/B test portfolio recommendations. Your work will directly influence the product roadmap and the financial futures of millions.
