📋 Description

• • Architect and deliver next-generation features for Jitterbit’s iPaaS and APIM platform, influencing how thousands of enterprises connect applications, data, and APIs at scale.
• • Own the full lifecycle of backend services—from white-boarding and technical design through coding, automated testing, CI/CD, and production monitoring—ensuring 99.9 %+ uptime in a 24×7×365 SaaS environment.
• • Design and evolve distributed systems that process millions of transactions per hour, leveraging Java, C#, and Lua micro-services orchestrated in Kubernetes, backed by MySQL, SQL Server, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, and InfluxDB.
• • Optimize performance bottlenecks across multi-region AWS deployments (S3, CloudFront, DynamoDB) and tune Nginx, Tomcat, and Apache for latency-sensitive workloads.
• • Champion clean, maintainable code and rigorous engineering standards: write modular, test-driven services, enforce code reviews, and mentor junior engineers through pair programming and design sessions.
• • Collaborate daily with product managers to translate complex customer requirements into technical epics, user stories, and measurable KPIs that drive roadmap priorities.
• • Build and maintain resilient data pipelines and event-driven architectures using Kafka and Redis streams, enabling real-time analytics and self-healing integrations.
• • Implement security best practices (OAuth 2.0, mTLS, secrets management) and ensure compliance with SOC 2 and GDPR across every layer of the stack.
• • Contribute to open-source initiatives and internal SDKs that empower third-party developers to extend the Jitterbit platform, amplifying your impact beyond the core product.
• • Establish SLOs, error budgets, and chaos-engineering experiments to proactively surface failure modes and continuously improve reliability and customer trust.
• • Drive cost-optimization initiatives by rightsizing cloud resources, introducing auto-scaling policies, and leveraging spot instances without compromising performance.
• • Foster a culture of experimentation: run A/B tests on new backend capabilities, instrument metrics via Prometheus/Grafana, and iterate based on data-driven insights.
• • Present technical deep-dives and post-mortems to the broader engineering org, turning operational surprises into shared learning and architectural improvements.
• • Participate in an inclusive, remote-first culture that values asynchronous communication, documented decisions, and empathy across time zones from Delhi to Denver.
