📋 Description

• Senior Software Engineer (C++) role at WatchGuard Technologies, Inc. focused on developing secure, high-quality software solutions using C++ in an agile, globally distributed environment.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include taking ownership of development tasks, guiding project execution, mentoring junior engineers, applying analytical thinking to solve customer problems, and demonstrating initiative and collaboration across teams.
• Part of a motivated, innovative engineering team that values accountability, belonging, bias for action, and customer success, working on cloud-managed security services with a focus on reliability and scalability.

🎯 Requirements

• Significant professional experience in C++ development
• Experience with agile methodologies and globally distributed teams
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and Test-Driven Design
• Familiarity with Qt framework, cross-platform applications, Windows Credential Providers, or macOS ecosystem (preferred)
• Strong software engineering discipline including unit testing, code reviews, and OSS compliance
• Ability to mentor engineers and collaborate effectively in team environments
