📋 Description

• Senior Software Engineer (CALC engine) role focused on developing and maintaining a high-performance Java-based OLAP calculation engine that powers Aera’s Decision Intelligence Platform, enabling enterprises to automate and scale decision-making with AI and machine learning.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, implementing, and optimizing core engine components, working with a proprietary modelling language that is dynamically compiled into efficient runtime objects, ensuring correctness, quality, and peak performance in a multi-dimensional calculation environment.
• Aera Technology is a privately-held, VC-funded pioneer in Decision Intelligence, recognized as a Leader in the Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for 2026, with a global team of over 400 employees (‘Aeranauts’) delivering trusted AI-driven decision automation to world-leading brands.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong expertise in Java programming with experience building high-performance, low-latency systems
• Experience with multi-dimensional data structures, OLAP engines, or similar computational workloads
• Background in compiler design, runtime code generation, or dynamic compilation techniques
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in a collaborative engineering environment
