📋 Description
- • Senior Software Engineer on the Core Experiences Team at Speechify, responsible for building and maintaining foundational services and SDKs that power the product experience across platforms, directly enhancing how users listen to and interact with information.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product teams to scope projects and reduce scope for faster feedback, optimizing existing functionality for faster loading and intelligent parsing through efficient abstractions and improved algorithms, and shipping cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.
- • Speechify is a fast-growing startup that makes listening to the world’s information easy and accessible, with a mission to transform how people consume audio information — currently #1 in its category and experiencing exponential growth.
- • In this role, you will learn to design clear, reliable APIs and simple systems at the intersection of product and infrastructure, gain deep experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and GCP, and make a tangible impact on a product used by millions, including those with learning differences like dyslexia, ADD, and low vision.
