- • Senior Software Engineer on the Core Experiences Team at Speechify, building foundational services and SDKs that power the product experience across platforms, enabling users to listen to web articles, cloud documents, and books at their own speed.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product teams to scope projects and reduce scope for faster feedback, optimizing existing functionality for faster loading and intelligent parsing through efficient abstractions and improved algorithms, and shipping cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.
- • The Core Experiences Team is critical to Speechify’s mission of making information accessible through audio, working at the intersection of product and infrastructure to design clear, reliable APIs and simple systems that directly enhance user experience for millions.
- • In this role, you will learn and achieve impact by shaping core product infrastructure, improving system performance and scalability, contributing to a life-changing product used by people with learning differences, and growing expertise in Kotlin Multiplatform and GCP within a fast-growing AI and audio technology company.

- • Prior experience with GCP is a plus
