📋 Description

• Senior Software Engineer on the Core Infrastructure team at Nooks Platform Inc., responsible for building and maintaining the foundational systems that enable all product teams to move faster and more reliably.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and owning data models, APIs, observability, and CI/CD pipelines; ensuring system reliability, capacity, and cost efficiency as the company scales from one to multiple products; making foundational technical decisions around data access and infrastructure cost attribution; and mentoring teammates through code reviews, design discussions, and pair programming on complex problems.
• The Core Infrastructure team enables the scalability of Nooks’ growing product suite — including Sequencing, Dialer, Agent Studio, and Coaching — by providing the performance, observability, and tooling that other teams depend on; the dialer alone processes ~100M calls weekly, with users spending 4+ hours daily in the platform.
• In this role, you will gain deep impact by shaping the technical foundation of a high-growth AI-driven sales platform, work alongside elite engineers from top-tier companies, and develop expertise in large-scale distributed systems while contributing to a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering experience with depth in distributed systems, databases, or developer infrastructure
• Production experience scaling systems through significant growth (10x, 100x)
• Strong opinions, held loosely, about what constitutes excellent developer experience in fast-moving product teams
• Comfortable being the go-to engineer during incidents and resolving high-pressure system issues
• Based in San Francisco and excited to work in-office 3+ days per week
