- • Participate across the entire software development lifecycle, taking customer-facing features from concept to production release
- • Lead frontend application development using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Svelte, and Next.js to deliver seamless end-to-end digital experiences for collectors
- • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and partner teams to translate business requirements into clean technical designs spanning both backend and frontend systems
- • Troubleshoot data, integration, service, and UI issues across a large distributed codebase supporting web and mobile surfaces
- • Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and performance of customer experience applications
- • Contribute to technical documentation to improve maintainability, knowledge sharing, and team velocity
- • Leverage AI tooling, with a preference for Claude, to accelerate software design, architecture, and implementation while maintaining high engineering standards
- • Build intuitive, reliable, and scalable customer-facing platforms that support discovery, submissions, order tracking, account management, collecting, and marketplace interactions
- • Work closely with design and data teams to improve the end-to-end collector journey with a focus on usability, performance, and long-term maintainability
- • Navigate ambiguity and independently drive complex engineering initiatives from ideation through delivery
- • Raise the bar for technical execution across the team by promoting code quality, robust architecture, and best practices in security, testing, and monitoring
- • Engage in Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver iterative improvements aligned with product goals
- • Support a hybrid work model where candidates within one-hour commuting distance of the Santa Ana, California office may be expected to work onsite most of the time
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of software engineering experience building consumer-facing web applications
- • 4+ years of experience and strong proficiency in React and Next.js
- • Fluency in TypeScript and JavaScript
- • Experience with Tailwind CSS
- • Experience with Svelte is a plus
- • Proficient in using security, testing, documentation, and monitoring best practices
- • Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- • Comfortable using AI tooling, preferably Claude, to support solution design and software implementation
