📋 Description

• As a Senior Software Engineer, Frontend at Optimal Dynamics Inc., you will lead the development and evolution of customer-facing web applications that translate complex logistics workflows into elegant, usable experiences, directly contributing to the company’s mission of redefining logistics decisions through data-driven innovation.
• Day to day, you will design, build, and scale performant, accessible, and maintainable frontend systems using React and TypeScript; own key UI architecture decisions including state management and component design; lead the development of reusable component libraries and design systems; optimize application performance and reliability; and collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver seamless end-to-end features.
• You will join a team of bright, kind, and solution-oriented engineers within the Product Engineering group at Optimal Dynamics, a high-growth company of ~70 employees backed by top-tier investors including Bessemer Venture Partners and Koch Disruptive Technologies, built on over four decades of Princeton University research and recently funded via Series C to scale its intelligent logistics platform.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in frontend architecture, design systems, and performance optimization while influencing engineering standards across the organization, mentoring peers, and gaining exposure to complex operational domains like transportation and logistics through close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
• Senior level expertise in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems
• Proven experience building and scaling complex, production-grade web applications (SPAs)
• Deep understanding of frontend architecture, including state management, performance optimization, and component design patterns
• Experience integrating with APIs and distributed backend systems
• Familiarity with modern frontend tooling, testing frameworks, and CI/CD workflows
