Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure Security

📋 Description

• • As a Senior Software Engineer on Asana's new Security Development team, you will design and build secure-by-default frameworks, libraries, and platforms that eliminate entire classes of security risks across Asana's infrastructure and product, enabling engineering teams to move quickly and safely.
• • Day to day, you will engineer preventative controls at scale by improving core security services like access control frameworks, secrets management, and AWS permissions systems; develop tooling for vulnerability remediation; partner with product and infrastructure teams to implement foundational security controls; and influence engineering initiatives through design reviews and security guidance.
• • You will join a proactive security team focused on building durable, secure-by-default solutions that act as guardrails rather than gatekeepers, embedded within Asana's engineering organization dedicated to human + AI collaboration and recognized for workplace excellence.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in security engineering, cloud infrastructure (particularly AWS), and large-scale platform development while influencing organization-wide security practices and advancing your ability to identify and eliminate systemic risks through preventative engineering.
