Senior Software Engineer, Internal AI

📋 Description

• • As the engineering anchor of Zip’s new Internal AI team, you will serve as the technical hub that accelerates AI adoption across non-software engineering teams by building central platform capabilities, guiding architecture decisions, and acting as the single interface between business needs and core engineering infrastructure.
• • Day to day, you will build and ship production-grade services, agents, and MCP integrations that empower non-engineering teams; review and triage AI use cases from across the organization to recommend appropriate solutions (off-the-shelf, no-code, or custom); enforce application-level standards in integration, data handling, identity, and observability; and funnel legitimate infrastructure requests to Foundations and Security teams to prevent duplication and chaos.
