📋 Description

• Senior Software Engineer (.NET), SDK role focused on owning and advancing Sentry’s .NET SDK, including MAUI, to support performance and error monitoring for developers worldwide processing over a billion events daily.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding SDK architecture end-to-end, pioneering features like Profiling and Session Replay for MAUI, bridging managed .NET code to native platforms, collaborating with upstream package maintainers, and serving as the go-to expert for MAUI within Sentry and the broader .NET ecosystem.
• Sentry is a mission-driven company building tools to help developers write better software faster, trusted by over 100,000 organizations including Disney, Microsoft, and Atlassian, with a hybrid work model anchored in Vienna and global hubs.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in .NET internals, cross-platform SDK development, and open-source collaboration while making tangible impact on tools used by millions of developers and contributing to a widely adopted open-source project.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years as a Software Engineer with strong focus on .NET and mobile platforms, ideally in SDK development or developer tooling
• Strong C# and .NET MAUI experience; prior Xamarin experience is a plus
• Solid grasp of the .NET ecosystem including Microsoft.Extensions, dependency injection, and .NET integration with native frameworks on iOS, Android, and Windows
• Deep understanding of managed-to-native interop, platform lifecycle differences, and .NET runtimes (Mono, CoreCLR, Android runtime) affecting performance and debugging
• Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools to enhance productivity and code quality
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• Well-organized with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness to live in or relocate to the Vienna area
