📋 Description

• Senior Software Engineer - SAST role at Harness, Inc., focusing on developing and maintaining language frontends for the Joern platform to enable automated software vulnerability analysis via Harness SAST.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing and maintaining language frontends for various programming languages, translating compiler/parser representations into Joern Code Property Graphs, tracking new language features, writing integration tests, collaborating with distributed teams, and maintaining technical documentation.
• Harness is the AI Software Delivery Platform company founded by Jyoti Bansal (AppDynamics), valued at $5.5B with $570M in funding, powering over 185M deployments and helping clients like United Airlines reduce cloud costs by up to 60% and accelerate releases by up to 75%.

🎯 Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in software development in either Scala or Java/Kotlin
• Knowledge of parser generators, compiler programming and program analysis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative work with distributed teams
• Knowledge of static program analysis methods is a plus
