- • Lead technical discovery and validation for DeepL Voice use cases including real-time meetings, live conversations, and API integrations, engaging directly with enterprise prospects such as contact centre leaders, IT architects, and CX stakeholders.
- • Conduct proof-of-concept evaluations and architecture reviews to validate technical feasibility and support deal closure by demonstrating the art of the possible in enterprise voice AI deployments.
- • Advise on end-to-end voice AI architectures spanning speech-to-text, text-to-speech, speech-to-speech real-time translation, telephony/SIP, and contact centre platform integrations (e.g., Genesys, NICE, Five9, Amazon Connect).
- • Collaborate with BPOs and contact centre providers to deploy, integrate, and scale DeepL Voice solutions globally, building repeatable implementation playbooks that reduce technical risk and accelerate adoption.
- • Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal product/engineering teams, translating real-world deployment challenges—such as latency constraints, voice quality trade-offs, and integration gaps—into structured product feedback.
- • Shape the product roadmap by bringing customer-driven insights from production environments to influence feature prioritization and technical enhancements for DeepL Voice.
- • Design scalable, low-latency voice AI systems that operate reliably in complex, heterogeneous enterprise IT environments with diverse legacy and cloud-based infrastructure.
- • Work cross-functionally with global sales, product, and engineering teams to align technical solutions with business objectives and customer requirements across multiple time zones and regions.
- • Maintain deep technical credibility with enterprise decision-makers by demonstrating expertise in cloud architecture (AWS), WebSocket/API integrations, and LLM-based conversational AI systems.
- • Contribute to the global expansion of DeepL Voice by adapting solutions to regional compliance, telephony standards, and multilingual communication needs.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7–10+ years in Solution Architecture, Solution Consulting, or Technical Pre-Sales within enterprise or SaaS environments
- • Solid familiarity with the voice stack: SIP/VoIP/IVR, CCaaS Platform Architecture, contact centre platforms (e.g., Genesys, NICE, Five9, Amazon Connect), speech-to-text, text-to-speech, speech-to-speech systems, LLM-based conversational AI, WebSocket/API Integration, AWS Cloud Architecture
- • Native or bilingual level Japanese fluency and business fluency in English
- • A systems mindset with a passion for designing voice solutions by understanding how components integrate in disparate IT environments
- • Strong enterprise instincts and ability to build technical credibility with contact centre leaders, IT architects, and CX teams
