- • The Senior Solution Engineer at Tanium plays a critical role in helping the world’s largest organizations achieve unprecedented visibility and control over complex IT environments by bridging technical expertise with customer-facing sales engagement.
- • Day to day, the role involves working closely with sales teams from initial discovery to deal close, leading technical demonstrations and Proof of Value (POV) engagements, translating business challenges into technical solutions, and serving as a trusted advisor to stakeholders ranging from C-level executives to technical users.
- • Tanium is a global leader in autonomous IT, leveraging AI and real-time endpoint intelligence to empower organizations to innovate faster, stay resilient, and operate at scale, with a strong commitment to diversity, inclusion, and employee volunteerism through programs like Volunteer Time Off (VTO).
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise security and IT operations, influence large-scale technology decisions, build executive-level communication and presentation skills, and contribute directly to revenue growth while collaborating across sales, marketing, product, and customer success teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of operational and/or selling experience in endpoint operations or security
- • 4+ years of experience in customer-facing or customer support positions
- • Significant software pre-sales or value-based technical selling expertise in very large enterprise environments
- • Experience presenting at multiple levels, from C-Suite to solution users
- • Broad knowledge of IT security, operations, and compliance
- • Deep hands-on experience in one or more of: Endpoint Security, IT Operations Management, or Regulatory Compliance
- • BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience

- • Annual base salary range of $146,000 to $224,000, plus commission eligibility
