- • As a Senior Solution Engineer at Tanium, you will play a critical role in helping the world’s largest organizations achieve unprecedented visibility and control over complex IT environments by driving technical evaluations, delivering product demonstrations, and leading Proof of Value engagements throughout the sales cycle.
- • Day to day, you will work closely with sales teams from initial discovery to deal close, conduct technical discovery meetings, deliver platform demos and Proof of Value sessions, translate customer business challenges into technical solutions, partner with field engineering teams, and engage with stakeholders from C-level to technical users through strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- • You will join Tanium’s Solution Engineering team, which collaborates closely with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and Engineering to improve effectiveness across the customer lifecycle, supporting a mission-driven culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and inclusion.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise security and IT operations, lead high-impact technical engagements, influence strategic account outcomes, and develop advanced skills in solution selling, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration while representing a leader in autonomous IT technology.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of operational and/or selling experience in endpoint operations or security
- • 4+ years of experience in customer-facing or customer support positions
- • Significant software pre-sales or related value-based technical selling expertise in very large enterprise environments
- • Experience presenting at multiple levels, from C-Suite to Solution Users
- • BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent experience

- • Annual base salary range of $146,000 to $224,000 with commission eligibility
