Full Job Description

📋 Description

  • • As a Senior Solutions Architect at MagicSchool Inc., you will serve as the trusted AI-in-Education expert guiding K-12 districts through the evolving landscape of artificial intelligence in education. Your role is pivotal in helping school systems harness generative AI to enhance teaching and learning outcomes, directly supporting MagicSchool’s mission to empower educators and improve student success through innovative, ethical AI solutions.
  • • You will bridge curriculum and instruction by designing AI-driven workflows that align with district priorities, state standards, and instructional goals, ensuring that technology serves pedagogical intent rather than the reverse. This involves translating complex technical capabilities into practical, classroom-ready applications that delight educators and drive measurable improvements in student engagement and achievement.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities include leading live product demonstrations, delivering compelling presentations to district leaders and educators, facilitating hands-on workshops, and speaking at education conferences—often independently or alongside Account Executives—to build trust and demonstrate the real-world value of MagicSchool’s platform.
  • • You will engage in consultative solutioning by deeply understanding each district’s unique cultural, technical, and instructional context, then architecting tailored AI implementations that address specific pain points while scaling across classrooms and schools.
  • • A critical part of your role involves supporting the sales cycle through pilot programs, RFP responses, and key account engagements, partnering closely with Account Executives to convert interest into long-term district partnerships.
  • • You will travel frequently (approximately 50% of the time) to meet with districts in person, conduct technical reviews, lead professional development sessions, and gather frontline insights that inform both product development and sales strategy.
  • • Beyond direct client engagement, you will contribute to sales enablement by capturing best practices from fieldwork and transforming them into training resources, playbooks, and coaching materials that elevate the entire Account Executives team’s effectiveness and consistency.
  • • You will act as a strategic liaison between the field and internal teams—feeding insights from Sales, Marketing, Success, and Product back into product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies to ensure MagicSchool’s solutions remain aligned with evolving district needs and market demands.
  • • Through thought leadership, you will leverage educational research, AI trends, and real-world implementation data to shape internal strategies while externally positioning MagicSchool as a trusted advisor in the AI-in-education space.
  • • This role offers the opportunity to grow as a leader in educational technology, deepening your expertise in AI integration, change management, and instructional design while making a tangible impact on equity and access in education across California and beyond.
  • • You will join a mission-driven, rapidly growing company where your work directly contributes to social impact—helping over 7 million teachers worldwide save time, reduce burnout, and focus on what matters most: student learning.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Background in K-12 education, instructional technology, EdTech, or a related field with demonstrated experience implementing technology in classroom or district settings.
  • • Strong technical aptitude including familiarity with AI tools, SSO (Single Sign-On), LMS (Learning Management System), LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability) integrations, and typical district IT infrastructures.
  • • Exceptional communication, presentation, and writing skills, with proven ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences including superintendents, principals, teachers, and IT staff.
  • • Experience in curriculum design, instructional coaching, or technology integration roles that required translating educational goals into practical technology solutions.
  • • Comfort with extensive travel (approximately 50%), including the ability to respond to short-notice trip requests to support district engagements across California.
  • • A proven track record as a MagicSchool champion or advocate who has successfully integrated the platform in a K-12 environment and can speak authentically about its impact.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Unlimited time off policy to support work-life balance and employee well-being.
  • • Employer-paid health insurance plans with low-cost dental and vision coverage options.
  • • Generous stock option grants vesting over four years, aligning employee success with company growth.
  • • 401(k) retirement plan with company match and a monthly wellness stipend to support holistic health.
  • • Fully remote work flexibility with the ability to live and work from anywhere in California while collaborating with a distributed, passionate team.
  • • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge generative AI technology that is actively transforming education and promoting equity, access, and educator empowerment.
