- • As a Senior Solutions Architect - EDI at Workato, you will enable clients to become proficient on Workato’s Agentic Platform, empowering their employees and building AI Agent solutions for their business, directly contributing to streamlining operations by connecting data, processes, applications, and experiences globally.
- • Day to day, you will collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs, conduct discovery sessions on existing EDI infrastructure, translate business requirements into scalable EDI solutions, deliver tailored product demonstrations, lead technical responses to RFPs/RFIs, design EDI workflows and architecture diagrams, act as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal teams, and stay current with global EDI standards and integration technologies.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in EDI standards and B2B integration, gain hands-on experience with iPaaS platforms like Workato, Boomi, and Mulesoft, strengthen your ability to architect complex integrations with ERPs such as SAP and Oracle, refine your stakeholder management and presentation skills for technical and business audiences, and grow as a trusted advisor in enterprise integration while contributing to customer success and product adoption.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- • 5 - 7+ years of experience in EDI solution design, implementation, or support
- • 5+ years in a presales, sales engineering, or customer-facing consulting role
- • Strong knowledge of EDI formats and standards (X12, EDIFACT, etc.)
- • Hands-on experience with EDI mapping tools (e.g., IBM Sterling, Seeburger, Cleo Integration Cloud, GXS, Boomi, etc.)
- • Familiarity with iPaaS technologies (e.g., Workato, Boomi, Mulesoft)
- • Familiarity with standard B2B protocols such as AS2, VDA, OFTP2, SFTP, FTPS, API, and VANs
- • Experience with ERP systems integration (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics)
- • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to business audiences
