📋 Description
- • Senior Solutions Engineer / Senior Sales Engineer role focused on enabling Communication Service Providers (CSPs) to deliver high-quality wireless experiences across homes, SMBs, and MDUs through technical expertise in Wi-Fi and subscriber experience networking.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include serving as a technical advisor in sales opportunities, shaping solution positioning and deal strategy, engaging CSP technical teams to design and optimize 802.11 wireless networks, delivering technical presentations and demos, supporting pre-sales discovery and RFP responses, and developing internal training and sales enablement materials.
- • Calix is a leader in broadband innovation, empowering CSPs of all sizes to simplify operations, reduce costs, and accelerate innovation through its AI-powered Calix One platform, with a mission to strengthen businesses and the communities they serve.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in wireless networking and SaaS solutions, gain influence across sales and technical teams, and play a pivotal role in winning CSP opportunities while enabling differentiated subscriber experiences and driving revenue growth.
🎯 Requirements
- • BSEE/BSCS degree is desired and preferred.
- • Experience with Layer 1/2/3 network architectures and technologies.
- • Solid understanding of SaaS cloud-based solutions and API integration.
- • Experience with various Wi-Fi standards and managed Wi-Fi solutions.
- • Experience in the service provider industry preferred.
- • Strong interpersonal and soft skills, with ability to convey complex concepts at multiple levels within an organization.
