- • Senior Staff Software Engineer leading the architecture of Tide’s agentic platform to enable safe, reliable, and scalable AI systems across the business.
- • Define platform architecture, design shared services (context APIs, tool layers, policy controls, auditability), partner with cross-functional teams, set reliability and safety standards, provide technical leadership, implement LLM cost optimization, and build automated evaluation pipelines for agent reasoning and safety.
- • Tide is a fast-growing fintech serving over 1.8 million SME members globally with business banking and administrative solutions, backed by $300M+ funding and operating across UK, India, Germany, France with engineering hubs in London, Sofia, Serbia, Romania, Lithuania, Hyderabad, Gurugram, New Delhi, Berlin, Paris, and Luxembourg.
- • Opportunity to shape a foundational AI platform that compounds value across productivity, risk, and connectivity, gain deep expertise in scalable platform engineering, AI systems, and regulated fintech environments while driving technical strategy and mentoring engineers.
🎯 Requirements
- • Deep experience building platform or infrastructure systems at scale
- • Strong judgement across APIs, distributed systems, data, and cloud-native architecture
- • Track record of leading complex cross-team technical problems
- • Experience integrating third-party platforms without losing control of core architecture
- • Strong understanding of reliability, security, and observability
- • Experience in highly regulated industries (Fintech, Healthtech, etc.) where safety and compliance are core to the product is highly desirable
